He is the CEO of House of Macro (Nigeria). He holds a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Film/TV & Radio (Republic of Ireland. A man with experience of over 20 years, meaning he has worked in various capacities in the development and implementation of motion picture jobs from inception.
Over the years, he has worked successfully on various TV Commercials, Documentaries, Live Coverage’s and a minimum of fifty high profile Nollywood Movies as a Director, for instance; Vuga, The Blood of Jesus, Church Business, My Time, Fateful Love, The London Boy, 31st Night, e.t.c Simi has directed up to 39 films.
Simi also, Co-Directed with Kingsley Ogoro in the blockbuster film Osuofia in London, co- Directed with Tade Ogidan in Dangerous Twins, and he has made series of short films/documentaries showcasing the Nigerian culture and values in the diaspora.
Coming from a background of Sound Engineering, Graphics/Animation, Editing, VFX/Special Effects. He pioneered special effects in Nollywood and later moved to Directing and Producing. He was Honored and Bagged awards at the, THEMA, AMEN, & REEL Awards over the years. Best Film Spirit Award 2014 & Best Special Effect Award BON 2015.
He is An active member of many professional bodies in Nollywood most notable of which are: the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria (DGN), Association of Movie Producers (AMP) and the Independent Television Practitioners Association of Nigeria (ITPAN)
